Birds, bugs, bees! Veggies, turtles, trees! Nature Explorers returns to The Gardens at Heather Farm on Tuesday, March 20th for its fourth year with a fun, engaging and educational program for preschoolers. Designed for ages two to five, children and their adult caregivers explore the natural world in a lush, garden setting during this series of six 90-minute, weekly classes featuring nature-themed stories, garden walks, hands-on activities, and other fun projects. The program is led by experienced teachers.
In 2018, participants will explore marine biology, conservation, habitats of California, garden plants, and rocks and minerals, and celebrate World Planting Day, Earth Day, World Oceans Day, World Sea Turtle Day and National Honeybee Day with special, themed activities.
