Jerry Mitchell, the acclaimed investigative journalist will meet with high school and college students and aspiring journalists to tell his incredible story, share professional insights, and offer career advice through an interactive presentation and Q&A format. An evening with investigative journalist Jerry Mitchell
Jerry Mitchell, the acclaimed Mississippi Clarion-Ledger investigative journalist, will discuss his new book, Race Against Time: A Reporter Reopens the Unsolved Murder Cases of the Civil Rights Era, a compelling accounting of how he brought four leading Klansmen to justice decades after they thought they got away with murder.
Mitchell is a MacArthur Genius Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist. Race Against Time has already been named one of Newsweek‘s Most-Anticipated Books of 2020 and will be available for purchase and signing after the program. REGISTER>
