About Us

JFKU was founded in 1964 and serves adult students wanting to continue their formal education, chart new professional directions, and derive greater meaning from their lives. Five JFKU schools include Psychology, Law, Holistic Studies, Management, and Education/Liberal Arts. Through its broad range of career-oriented academic programs, the University encourages intellectual inquiry, breadth of vision and spirit, and active voluntarism. JFKU's home campus is in Pleasant Hill with satellite campuses in Silicon Valley and Berkeley. JFKU is an affiliate of The National University System.
