The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night event funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocating for lifesaving treatments and pioneering the most promising cancer research anywhere. And it's all happening now. Not someday, but today. Money raised from the Light The Night event allows The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to fund treatments for patients who are suffering from all forms of blood cancers. LLS' funding saves thousands of lives every day. Friends, families and co-workers form fundraising teams, and consumers help by donating at retail outlets. These efforts culminate in inspirational evening walks in nearly 200 communities across North America. The East Bay Light The Night event taking place in Walnut Creek is on Saturday, October 21st from 5-9PM at Civic Park. Register and be a part of it at: http://pages.lightthenight.org/gba/EastBay17
