Event Description:
Join Tribal nutritionist and John F. Kennedy University Health Education Professor, Paula Szloboda, to learn about the physical benefits of heirloom foods and how we derive social and emotional nourishment from ancestral foodways. In this workshop you will learn how ancestral foodways are being cultivated to support health and well-being. Resources for how to explore your own indigenous traditions will be included as well as the opportunity to taste some indigenous dishes of the Southwest.
